A Lover, Not A Fighter

Jason was the mean 1st grader that always threatened the little kindergartners like Aaron. He was a big boy who loved to pick fights, pick on little kids, and pick the scabs off his arms after rough rumbles.
And Jason's next target was Aaron and his friends.
Aaron, at this point a little boy, was walking down the street with two of his buddies Bryan and Ryan. Jason approached them from a couple houses down from Aaron's place.
He turned to Bryan. "You wanna fight?" he said gruffly.
Bryan was shaking in his boots. "No, no, I don't want to fight."
"You want to fight with me?" Jason looked at Ryan.
"No, I'm not fighting you!" said Ryan, shivering with fright.
Then Jason slowly shifted his eyes to Aaron. "You're gonna fight with me."
And Aaron, playing it cool said "No, sorry bro. I don't want to fight you."
Livid, Jason went through the whole cycle again, asking each boy once more to rough it up with him. Finally, Aaron gave in. "Okay, whatever."

**Fights.**

The little scramble ended in Jason crying all the way home to his mom.
Aaron walked back to his house. Seconds after he made his way through the door, the phone rang. His mom--Alice Ann--picked it up to Jason's mom.
"Ms. Alice Ann," she said. "I understand you're boy beat up my son Jason today."

Mom had a conversation with her son Aaron, helping him understand that it isn't okay to fight with people just to fight.
Aaron started crying, embarrassed. "He started it!"
Alice Ann comforted her son.

And Aaron learned not to fight with people any more.

At least for the time being.

Time Spent: 20 mins
