Aaron walked outside one day and saw Stacy, his next door neighbor, in her front yard. She was a couple years younger than him. Kids were around and about, just throwing snowballs, playing in the snow, and doing what people usually do on a chilly day like this.
Stacy decided to brag about how Aaron could probably not hit her with a snowball. "I'll be you can't get me!" she shouted.
"Okay, we'll see," Aaron called back.
At this time, he recalled a moment from before when one of his brothers (Corey, perhaps?) taught him a cool trick about throwing. If one was to hike a ball into the air as high as he/she could, they'd distract their target and have a better chance of hitting them by throwing another one directly at their target right after.
So he did just that.
Aaron chucked a snowball high into the sky, as hard as he could. Stacy looked up, stared at the snowball coming down full speed. Her eyes were wide, her mouth was open in awe, and she couldn't move a muscle.
Aaron seized the opportunity to actually reach his target, so he hurriedly threw another snowball straight at her--from 30 yards away--and waited a brief second for the results.
Thump!
It landed right in her mouth.
Yep, that's a real thing that happened.
Right now, my Dad regrets ever doing that, and he's quite embarrassed about it. But he also says that if he were to throw those snowballs a thousand times more, he wouldn't actually get the ball into her mouth ever again, because what are the chances of that happening, right? Slim to none. He was one in a million.
Time Spent: 23 mins
